My name is Ailsa Plumb and coming from a family background of creativity I have always had enthusiasm for design, home decoration and, indeed, all creativity that effects our every day life.

From school I attended Grey's School of Art, part of Robert Gordon's University, Aberdeen and graduated with a BA honours in Design and Craft, Textiles and Surface Decoration. After graduating I was drawn into the corporate world, where I worked in marketing for some years.

During this time I kept my passion for textiles and design alive making many things for my own home, friends and family and in so doing also extended my technical knowledge through further study. After a period of deliberation I decided to re-focus my professional expertise into this business and have never looked back.
